Valencia should fear Benzema

Real Madrid take on Valencia this Sunday evening and that means Karim Benzema is going up against one of his favourite victims, given that he’s netted six goals in the 16 matches he’s played against Los Che in his career.

The fact that he is likely to start the match and the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo mean that the Frenchman will be one of the main attacking threats as Los Blancos look for the win.

If Benzema does score against Marcelino’s side then it’ll be his first LaLiga goal of the season, although he did find the back of the net in the Supercopa de Espana, netting the second against Barcelona in the return leg.

With Borja Mayoral the only other natural centre-forward in the squad, 2017/18 could be a very important year for the 29-year-old.
