As Real Madrid’s preparations for their second LaLiga match of the season continue Los Blancos have been given a boost by the news that both Raphael Varane and Mateo Kovacic will be available to face Valencia.
The first-team squad took part in an intense training session at Valdebebas on Friday morning following a brief photo opportunity with the club’s UEFA award winners, which were announced in Monaco on Thursday.
Every single player took part except Jesus Vallejo with the defender being forced to work alone inside the facility.
Varane and Kovacic have been fitness doubts this week and both missed the Santiago Bernabeu Trophy match with Fiorentina.
However both have returned to full training and are in line to play in Los Blancos’ domestic home opener.
