Real Madrid will once again be LaLiga champions next season according to a prediction by Gracenote’s computer generated Euro Club Index that is based on up to one million different possibilities.
Zinedine Zidane’s side are favourites as they are not only the reigning champions but also have won the Champions League in three out of the last four years and boast a talented squad, which is well-balanced with young players coming through.
Barcelona will be in the title race right up until the final matches says the Euro Club Index.
Here are the predictions for the other major European leagues:
It is likely to be another hard-fought campaign with up to five teams fighting for the title and it will be Conte’s Chelsea that gain come out on top.
In Germany it is expected that Bayern Munich will win their sixth straight title with Borussia Dortmund and Hoffenheim behind them – who finished 15th last season.
Neymar’s Paris Saint Germain are set to win the French league again with Monaco, Lyon and Nice fighting for the European places.
Juventus once again will be dominant with Napoli and Roma expected to be 12 and 15 points behind, respectively. Interestingly, the revolution at Milan is not expected to have much of an impact.
