As Real Madrid secured yet another title under Zinedine Zidane, Sergio Ramos basked in the glow of another job well done, a feeling he will never get tired of.
Though the victory over Manchester United was only by a single goal, the truth is there was an almighty chasm between the two teams.
“We were superior in almost all of the match,” he said to reporters after the game.
“Winning a title is the best way to start.”
As with each of their previous title wins under Zinedine Zidane, the French coach played a huge part in the success.
“We all have a different but equally important role,” Ramos continued.
“Cristiano was always positive, has a lot of experience and always makes the difference.
“Keeping the team together is essential and ZZ has achieved it.”
This golden period for Real shows no signs of slowing down, and Ramos is along for the ride.
“I never tire of winning, the museum is expanding at home but I never tire of winning,” he concluded
