Marco Asensio: the Biography

Real Madrid’s youngster Marco Asensio is currently one of the hottest youngsters getting attentions worldwide,and today us his fans will know so much about this hot youngster.

Date of birth: 21,January 1996

Position: Winger/Attacking Midfielder.

Marco Asensio was born to a Dutch Mother and Spanish Father in Palma,Marjoca,Balearic Islands. His Dutch Mother, Maria Willemsen died of cancer when he (Asensio) was at the age of 15.

Marco Asensio had growth deficiencies in his knees which healed in his adolescent days.

Marco Asensio’s Father was footballer, an attacking midfielder to be precise and his elder brother Igor played for Platges de Calvia as a defender.


It all started at Platges de Calvia in the year 2003 to 2006  and then he joined Mallorca in 2006 and played for them till 2013.

It was at Mallorca he(Marco Asensio) scored his first professional goal against CD Tenerife.

On 24 of November 2014 Asensio was signed to Real Madrid (which was officially announced 5 December) 6 year contract was signed for 3.9 million Euro.

Marco Asensio was loaned to RCD Espanyol,where he played his first match in La Liga. Asensio ended his spell with overall 12 assists.

Then Asensio returned to Santiago Bernabeu Stadium for 2016/17, where he appeared for the first time on 9 August,as he spent 120 minutes on pitch against Sevilla for UEFA Super Cup and Asensio scored through 25-effort in 3-2 win match for Real Madrid.

First League start was made 12 days later against Real Sociedad netting the second goal in a 3-0 win match.

And featured 23 times and scored 3 times as Real Madrid won national championship for the first time since 2012 and we all witnessed the goals Asensio Scored in the year’s UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE competition including the magnificent goal he scored against Juventus in the Champions League final.

Marco Asensio scored his  first 2017/18  25 yard goal against (3-1) Barcelona at Camp Nou for the Spanish Super Cup first leg and unleashed his worth again in the second leg 5-1 win against Barcelona.

Marco Asensio is hot at the moment and his fans want to see more of him in this current campaign.

Marco Asensio made his National team debut  for under 21 team on 26 March 2015 and made 18 appearances and scored 7 goals.

In 2016 he was selected for Spanish senior national team and has made 3 appearances so far.
