Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez admits that they lacked a cutting edge as they could only draw 1-1 at home to Levante.
He put them ahead but they could not hold on for the win.
“We did not have the sharpness in order to create openings while Levante defended well at the back,” he said.
“It’s not what we wanted but now we have to learn from the errors and look forward.
“Another player that could have been in attack was Cristiano but he has missed four games so far (after his dismissal in the Supercopa de Espana) and that was out of proportion.”
Marcelo was sent off in stoppage time for kicking out but Vazquez did not want to talk about the referee.
“I don’t like to talk about the referees, fans can talk because they are not directly involved,” he said.
