James Rodriguez not a priority for PSG

Paris Saint-Germain are one of few clubs in Europe who can afford to sign players of James Rodriguez’s calibre and despite their interest in the Real Madrid star, he is not a priority of theirs this summer.

Rodriguez remains a player that PSG are interested in, but he is now second in line to Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe, and they will only go for the Colombian should their pursuit of the Frenchman fail.

According to Le Parisien, the Ligue 1 club will not look to sign Alexis Sanchez or Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang either, and are focusing all of their efforts on bringing Mbappe to the capital.

With the Parc des Princes door appearing to close for Rodriguez, he will need to seek another club after making his desire to leave Real Madrid this summer clear.
