Casemiro debuts as Brazil captain

In Brazil’s World Cup qualifier match against Bolivia at Estadio Hernando Siles, Casemiro made his debut as captain.
It was confirmed days in advance that the Real Madrid player would wear the historic nation’s armband in the game, which ended in a goalless draw.

Casemiro is currently enjoying one of his best moments of his career. The 25-year-old has become a key player for both Real Madrid and his national side.

The defensive midfielder has entered the history of Brazilian football after his debut as captain but was not able to celebrate it with a victory. However, he performed strongly throughout the 90 minutes and reached a pass success of 90 percent.
